Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Level Two Trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)
I have extensive experience working with adults, children
adolescents and families. In my work with children, I have facilitated a boys’ anger
management group and a social skills group for both boys and girls. I have worked
with a wide range of diagnosis in both children and adults including; bipolar,
depression, anxiety, phobias, oppositional defiant disorders, loss, trauma, as well
as many others.
I am passionate about using EMDR, when appropriate, in my work with clients. EMDR is
a non-invasive, client-therapist collaboration in which healing can happen
effectively. EMDR is a powerful short term therapy that can be used with a wide range
of disorders.
I strongly believe that every person is unique. My approach is always individualized.
In a safe and supportive environment, I work with each client to develop the most
effective ways to achieve that person’s needs and goals in order to promote change.
